Although being affected by the presidential election in DRC, Jimond Mining Management Company SARL (JMMC) vigorously addressed civilized production while keeping pace with production schedule, to maintain a positive brand image for JCHX.
In the end of last year, Mr. Gang LI was appointed as the new GM for JMMC, upon his arrival, he stressed the importance of civilized production, and demonstrated good practices from domestic operations, through which he required team on site to take civilized production as priority.
In the morning of 14 Jan 2019, Mr. Li inspected the warehouse in Kamoa, after which he felt disappointed and thus organized young crew to clean up and reorganize the warehouse. The materials and spare parts in warehouse such as drill rods, bolts, and cable anchors were placed in an orderly fashion. Mr Li mentioned that a clean and tidy warehouse was not only for good looking, but also for saving costs. Disordered storage might cause damages to goods and result in additional cost. Not to mention civilized production will also reflect our corporate image.
Under the leadership of GM Li, all employees of JMMC begin to realize the importance of and work harder to achieve civilized production in both working area and living camp.
