27 Mar 2019, daily output of Pulang Project achieved 33148.52t, which broke the previous record of 32947.50t on 26 Mar.
In order to accomplish the required daily output, all foremen and shift bosses paid close attention to the production process, and changes in different drifts or draw bells. Secondary blasting was conducted in the event of any blockage, and maintenance staff immediately attended to any breakdown of LHDs.
Since primary blasting would commence 18:00 every day, all people underground should be evacuated before 17:15, which much shortened time for production. A reasonable schedule and scientific organization were formulated to accommodate ore drawing. LHD operators are required to commence work at 6 in the morning for a continuous operation in the shift, meaning they have to eat their lunch underground.
Safety and quality are not compromised despite of maximized production. Safety officers were designated to inspect underground every day, and convene safety meetings spontaneously. Technical staff paid close attention to the production status and notify relevant PIC from the Owner to commence ore drawing once ore pass is full. The solid system of accountability and rigorous work division allow everyone performing their duties and arousing their enthusiasm.
The breakthrough not only proved that JCHX is capable of and have confidence in achieving production targets, but also demonstrated its spirit of integrity.
