On 13 Apr 2019, the transfixion of east drift in Dexing Secion and west drift in Xiaokou Section I was successfully completed at Tongjin Project. This is the third time for Tongjin Project to realize accurate transfixion of 10000+m drift since 2016, representing its high level of technical management and expertise.
Commenced in Dec 2011, it takes totally 2680 days. In order to maintain the accuracy of transfixion for this 13881.454m long drift, project team conscientiously prepared surveying plans according to which technicians conducted accurate survey and setting out, meanwhile re-measurement and rectification was conducted together with the surveying engineer of the Employer with the application of gyrostatic orientation method. Also tremendous support was provided by HQ and branch office.
During final stage, the technicians verified all surveying data to control the horizontal deviation within 87mm, while the vertical deviation within 12mm, which meet the requirements of maximum deviation as stipulated in Surveying Specifications for Underground Transfixion Works, while satisfy the standards of development quality.
The successful transfixion laid a solid foundation for subsequent prospecting works. The construction philosophy of “safety first and advanced technology” held by JCHX was highly recognized by the Employer.
