On 26 Apr 2019, the annual promotion meeting for National Key R&D Program – Key Techniques on Sinking & Hoisting System of Deep Shaft, initiated by University of Science and Technology Beijing, was held in JCHX head office.
Purpose of this meeting is to promote the implementation of regulatory policies of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) on key R&D program, summarize project progress, identify existing problems, find solutions, and promote the development of all research works.
Pei Zhiyong, Director of ACCA21, Zhou Aimin, Professor of Changsha Institute of Mining Research, Shen Baohong, Researcher of China Coal Research Institute (CCRI), and Yang Lingli, Professor of USTB and 70 representatives from 20 entities such as China Gold, Shandong Gold, ENFI, renowned universities and institutes attended the meeting.
Ji Hongguang, Professor from USTB hosted the meeting, where President of JCHX Group Peng Huaisheng, leader of “Second Task”, extended his sincere welcome to all participants. Meanwhile Vice President of JCHX Ye Pingxian delivered a brief introduction on “Second task”. Doctor Zeng Xiantao, Zhang Qingcheng, and Wang Yingying from Technological Innovation Department of JCHX also attended the meeting.
Leader of the task made specific reports, summarizing existing problems followed by detailed plan and suggestions on the following works.
The term for completion program of “Key Techniques on Sinking & Hoisting System of Deep Shaft” is from June 2016 to May 2021, totally 5 years. It mainly explored rationale and essential techniques on sinking and hoisting system of deep shaft in metallurgical mines, to establish methodology, theoretical foundation and technical support for sinking and hoisting system of deep shaft (less than 2000m). The program consisted of five tasks, in which the second task is initiated by JCHX and supported by 7 entities such as China Gold, Beijing General Research Institute of Mining & Metallurgy, and Central South University. It mostly probed into the difficulties in sinking deep shaft, providing theoretical principle and key techniques for efficient sinking under hard rock. The demonstration project for this task is the 1559m deep shaft sinking project (currently deepest in China) we are constructing now, entrusted by Laizhou Huijin Mining Co., Ltd under China Gold.
Having heard the reports, Mr. Pei appreciated the achievements made while raised several requirements in terms of fund management, intellectual property right, and acceptance of the project.
It was the first time for JCHX to arrange the top-level national R&D project promotion meeting, which enhanced not only our reputation but global influence.
