In June the grand 2019 investment exhibition of Copperbelt Province was held at the packed Stadium in Ndola, the capital city of Republic of Zambia. At the invitation of the organizer, JCHX Overseas Division participated the event. On June 26th, Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, President of Zambia paid his visit to the exhibition where he shook hands with the leaders of JCHX Overseas Division and extended cordial greetings.
The five-day exhibition attracted a total of 150 large and medium-sized enterprises and organizations from a wide range of sectors, such as agricultural products, infrastructure, mineral investment & development, machineries & engineering, catering, telecommunications, etc.
JCHX Overseas Division had its exhibitions in the best hall. Since the exhibition kicked off on June 24th, our booth has been visited by numerous government officials, enterprise representatives, media, and individual visitors.
The visit of His Excellency, President Lungu brought the exhibition to its culmination. Mr. Japhen Mwakalombe, Governor of Copperbelt Province particularly came to us beforehand and waited to receive President Lungu. Mr. Governor introduced JCHX to President Lungu saying that “JCHX is one of the most important investors in our province.” After that, Mr. President shook hands with the representatives of JCHX Overseas Division, Mr. Guo Dadi, Executive Deputy General Manager, Mr. Zhou Shipan, Assistant General Manager. Mr. Zhou presented JCHX to Mr. President who delightfully said afterwards that “now, I know who is the best partner for developing mining industry” after watching the video clip about JCHX. The President’s visit, accompanied by Christopher Yaluma, Minister of Industry and Trade and Bright Blagah Nundwe, General Secretary of Copperbelt Province, was immersed in an amicable and cordial atmosphere.
Five days are not long enough to show the whole picture of what JCHX had achieved over past two decades. But the participation in this investment exhibition will definitely be another highlight moment for JCHX. President’s simple but encouraging words will make all the employees at JCHX Overseas Division more confident and make them believe that a fruitful future awaits.
