The sudden spread of coronavirus in mainland China brought great challenges to Baiyu Project, despite of which impressive achievements were obtained by Baiyu Project at the beginning of the year.
While the national combat against coronavirus is on full swing, Baiyu project maintained good production while assuring safety. In Jan monthly target was successfully completed, in Feb the efforts in production and health assurance were furtherly increased. As of 10 Feb 2020, development works achieved 184% of the target, production drilling 466% and ore production 134%.
The project teams worked tenaciously and pulled together with multiple measures to guarantee normal production under severe epidemic situation. First, supply management was strengthened by better coordination in terms of goods allocation and logistic plan during epidemic prevention period. Second, manpower allocation was adjusted for smooth production, core employees were assigned to fill vacancies, personnel were timely relocated and shifted as required. Third, strengthen production control to ensure stable operation, through regular inspection on key positions, timely maintenance on equipment and prompt repair in case of any failure. Fourth, strictly implement safety measures; based on safety campaign prior to New Year, responsibilities and obligations of each position were furtherly clarified and accountability system was implemented. All executives stayed where they belonged, took full responsibilities and provided strong support during the special time.
