Good news from Haikuang Project arrived despite of the national campaign against COVID-19 that output in March reached 284,703.36 tons, with an average daily output of 10,950 tons, in particular 14,006.53 tons on 21 Mar, and 15,746.57 tons on next day, renewing records repeatedly.
In face of the spread of COVID-19 during Spring Festival, Haikuang Project actively responded to the call of local government, Client and JCHX headquarters, established an Epidemic Prevention and Control Team, implemented system of accountability and ensured zero infection of all employees.
In the meantime, production was not impacted owing to the effective control, supervision and guidance from the management. All divisions and crews followed the requirements on epidemic prevention without sacrificing production or work progress.
All face-to-face meetings were cancelled to keep social distancing during epidemic period, on-line shift meetings were held instead to give instructions and work plans. Work communications and epidemic condition updates were circulated through Wechat, all personnel were required to report their health condition on daily basis with designated personnel in charge of information collection.
On 11 Feb work was resumed on full scale. In face of challenges such as shortage of material supply and manpower, all members strived their best to keep up with work progress and minimize the impact of epidemic.
