After half month of shutdown, Miyun Project resumed work in Mar, and managed to not only made up the loss from Feb but also overachieved target for Q1 by efficiently mobilizing labor, strengthen development works, long-hole drilling, and ground support, representing a good start for this year.
Although the production was not suspended before Spring Festival, there were only limited personnel working on site, which was aggravated by the outbreak of COVID-19 in late Jan. Facing the challenges from labor shortage and spread of virus, remaining personnel shouldered up greater tasks and ensured timely completion of works by well organization. Three technical engineers worked for extra hours to complete the tasks for six.
All members on the frontline coordinated with each other and worked overtime under the special circumstances. In Mar 2020, it took only 4 operators to complete the blasting quantities originally done by 10 operators, and 7 LHD drivers achieved monthly output of 171,000 tons, which was supposed to be completed by 12 drivers, two drilling crews achieved the monthly development of 210m per crew. The outstanding performance in Q1 couldn’t be possible without their tremendous efforts.
Under the leadership of JCHX headquarter and branch company, Miyun Project overcame obstacles and made remarkable achievements. It is believed that in Q2, they shall keep up with the same attitude and strive their best to move forward to the completion of annual production target.
