On 15 Apr 2020, Overseas Division of JCHX donated epidemic prevention materials to the municipal government of Kalulushi in copper belt province, Zambia. Mayor of Kalulushi Rashida Mulenga attended the donation ceremony in the city hall and extended sincere gratitude.
Zambian HR Manager Lewis Chola commented in the ceremony that as a pioneer Chinese enterprise in Zambia mining market, JCHX has been giving continuous support to local communities. Against the backdrop of COVID-19 outbreak, JCHX pays close attention to Zambia’s epidemic prevention work, and makes its contributions to the community while maintaining the safety and health of its own employees.
Mayor Rashida Mulenga highly appreciated the contributions from JCHX in their hours of need, and all these materials would be timely delivered to public places such as bus stations and government offices. She also pointed that Zambia needs more investors like JCHX with high sense of social responsibility to support local development, and all Zambians would conquer the epidemic eventually with concerted efforts.
