Encouraging news came from JCHX Beijing Branch at the beginning of August: total output achieved 109.7% of the monthly target, reaching a record-high for single month output.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic，Beijing Branch failed to complete the quarterly target for Q1. In Q2, additional manpower were mobilized and production was resumed to normal status gradually, catch-up plans and specific measures were made with the support from JCHX head office, with deviations rectified and problems solved timely to put work back on track.
Despite of 20 days delay in commencement of works and limited development ends, Huanggang Project minimized shortfall in output by increasing ore production; Miyun Project performed steadily well and completed 188865 tons of production in July; Jinchuan Project undertook additional associated works and exceeded monthly target despite of the insufficient manpower; meanwhile, preparation for the newly tasked works at 814mL is underway; Subei Project sought a breakthrough by increasing development meters when production is limited due to Client’s requirements; as key works and challenging tasks are completed for development, Tongjin Project has shifted from excavation-oriented to ground support-oriented phase; Huibaoling Project not only completed the output target but overfulfilled the target for H1 2020 by sustaining high productivity; Xitieshan Project broke the monthly output record by 144,886 tons in July after the required additional labor force were mobilized in Q2; regardless of some obstacles, Baiyu Project basically accomplished the planned output value by exceeding backfilling target; Phase I capital construction at Dong’an Gold Mine was completed and ready for acceptance, where production is expected to be commenced.
JCHX Beijing Branch provided customized support to those projects with troubles in the principle of result-oriented and timely problem-solving, strengthened their capability in coping with emergencies and special circumstances, minimized any potential impact to production. Thanks to the joint efforts, monthly output value of Beijing Branch maintained a steady growth for four consecutive months since April and created a new record in July 2020.
