On October 13, it was officially announced that a contract was signed between JCHX and Hunan Baoshan Non-ferrous Metal & Minerals Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Baoshan Non-Ferrous”), marking the beginning of secondary development at Hunan Baoshan Lead-Zinc Mine.
Located in Guiyang County of Chenzhou City, which is known as “home of non-ferrous metals”, Baoshan Non-ferrous is mainly engaged in the production and processing of lead and zinc ore. Currently a fully mechanized operation is achieved at Baoshan Project and system upgrading was designed and completed for long-hole drilling. During production stage, the Owner shall require mining, development, backfilling, ground support, piping, cable and rail installation as well as associated works to be done on respective levels and in different working areas, subject to work requirements and mining plan.
On September 18, JCHX successfully won the bid for secondary development at Hunan Baoshan Lead-Zinc Mine. Contract for the work was finalized on September 25.
Once receiving the bid award notice, JCHX immediately assigned personnel to the site for making preparations and organizing mobilization, meanwhile JCHX Baoshan Project was established under the supervision by JCHX Central South Branch. Henceforth JCHX footprint is further expanded to Hunan Province, laying a solid foundation for future development in domestic mining landscape.
