Recently, Technical Specification for Paste Backfill with Unclassified Tailings (GB/T 39489-2020), co-edited by Beijing JCHX Mine Technology Research Institute, won the 1st prize for the Scientific and Technological Achievement from China Gold Association.
The Specification is completed thanks to the efforts of 11 co-editors, with University of Science and Technology Beijing as the leading party. Others also include China ENFI and Central South University, etc. It took totally 4 years to complete the Specification, from the project approval, open reply, drafting, to the review and final approval of the Specification.
Mr. Wang Xiancheng, Chairman of JCHX Group, as the pioneer in promoting paste filling and the planner for establishing JCHX Paste Filling Lab, personally took charge, formulated plans, and extended great support in all respects to ensure the smooth implementation.
Published on November 19, 2020 as a technical standard, the Specification will be enforced officially from October 1, 2021. Applicable to both metal and nonmetal mines, the Specification particularly stipulates the composition and storage instructions for paste material, and the technological requirements, standards as well as measuring method for paste backfill with unclassified tailings. As an unprecedented specification for paste backfill, it will promote a more extensive, standardized and scientific application of paste filling technology in domestic mines.
In recent years, JCHX Research Institute has carried out substantial studies over filling technology, established a global leading Paste Filling Lab, and undertaken dozens of related researches including national key research and development projects in the 13th Five-year Plan. So far 2 patents for invention and 10 utility model patents in relation to filling technology have been approved with over 10 papers published.
As the main force for driving scientific and technological innovation, JCHX Research Institute will strengthen its efforts to carry out research and development to make contributions to JCHX’s development.
