On January 20, 2022, the contract for the engineering design of the mining and processing project at a Lithium-beryllium mine was signed between JCHX Mine Engineering Design Institute Limited (“JCHXME”) and CCK Industrial Group Co., Ltd. (“CCK Group”), following the execution of contract for the engineering design of mining and processing project at a gold-molybdenum mine in Inner Mongolia and contract for research on technologies and equipment for safe UG mining at Yinshan Mine of Jiangxi Copper, which all together demonstrate remarkable successes and incredible progresses achieved by JCHXME at the year beginning.
The lithium-beryllium mine, located at Jiulong County of Sichuan Province, is the largest branch lode of the extension of the largest spodumene & gyabjeka lithium deposit in Asia. The mine is at the east of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, geomorphologically featuring plenty of valleys and water incising. The elevation of the mine north is higher than that of the south, with the highest and the lowest being approximately 4690m and 2800m, forming an elevation difference of 1890m. All of which poses big challenges to the engineering design of underground development, haulage & backfill systems and industrial layout.
