JCHX Signed Contract for Mining and Processing Works at A Large Phosphate Mine in Guizhou

JCHX signed a contract with Tianyi Mining Limited for the mining and processing works (Section Ⅱ) of Laohudong Phosphate Mine at Yuhua Village, Weng’an County, Guizhou Province, indicating a further step of JCHX in expanding southwest market in China and marking another good event for the new year.

Weng’an County, located in the middle of Guizhou Province and midstream of Wujiang River, is under the management of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. It is known as the “home of phosphate for Asia” for ranking the first in terms of phosphate resources / reserves in Asia, while having the largest phosphate mine in China.

Tianyi Mining Limited is a state-holding company, focusing on phosphate resources development. Laohudong is rich in phosphate resources, and the mine is designed with a production capacity of 5 mtpa.

The work scope mainly includes the development of air return shaft (Φ8.5m and 431m deep), air intake shaft (Φ6m and 653m deep), chambers, level development, mining preparation, prospecting, water prevention and control, industrial layout & fan room civil works & equipping of air return shaft, shaft tower construction & equipping of air intake shaft, with a total duration of 1169 days.

During the past two decades, JCHX has gained high reputation and developed solid capability through conscientious and down-to-earth works, which enabled it to outshine other strong competitors to win the bid. Signing of this contract represents expansion of JCHX’s share in domestic mining market, further consolidation of its comprehensive strength, while giving more impetus for JCHX to realize its 5th five-year development strategy.
