Mr. Wang Xiancheng, Chairman of JCHX Group, paid a site visit to Shalkiya project from April 19 to April 23, to not only extend greetings to those standing fast to their post, but also carry out inspection over both surface and UG construction works and give instructions regarding the development direction and path of the year stipulate by the 5th Five-Year Development Strategy, with the company of Ms. Bian Li, International Business Director.
Mr. Wang inspected the office rooms, living camps and cafeteria right away after arriving the project to understand in details the working & living conditions on site, and delivered his greetings and regards to all employees.
Then a meeting was held between Mr. Wang and Orken, General Manager of Shalkiya Zinc, with the company of the project management and executives from CCECC Kazakhstan Branch.
In the meeting, Mr. Wang first expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Shalkiya Zinc for their strong supports to the project, and gave a detailed introduction over JCHX’s development plan and core business value, the application of block caving method at Pulang Copper Mine, and JCHX’s experience and performance in respect of the sinking of ultra-deep and ultra-large shafts.
Mr. Wang also pointed out that Shalkiya is a flagship project for JCHX in Kazakhstan, JCHX will work together with Shalkiya Zinc to develop Shalkiya Mine into a world benchmark to realize mutual development and win-win cooperation.
Orken then highly recognized the great efforts made by JCHX team from project mobilization to construction and production, and expected that both Shalkiya Zinc and JCHX can continuously strengthen exchanges to further deepen cooperation and establish a long-term relationship with stability.
On April 21, Mr. Wang visited the working site to further understand the civilized construction condition, construction organization, work safety & quality management and work procedures, and inspected the surface excavation progress and other surface infrastructures and facilities, before listening to the work report from the project.
On April 22, Mr. Wang made clear responses to all comments and suggestions of the project.
Besides, Mr. Wang fully expressed his recognition to the project for the weekly language learning and training, and encouraged the entire project to bridge the distance arising from linguistic difference to genuinely improve mutual exchanges. He also emphasized that the project needs to leverage its experience on employee management and exert the role of the local management at all levels to inspire the local staff and give their momentum into full play.
Then Mr. Wang gave 6 targeted instructions to the project, i.e. sticking to stable construction safety, striving for high construction quality, ensuring strict local law & regulation compliance, improving the construction progress by mobilizing and inspiring the local staff, fully leveraging JCHX’s experience on mine construction and management, and respecting cultural differences to foster a harmonious relationship with the local community. All projects overseas have to stay committed to integrity and good faith, which hold the key for JCHX to explore the overseas market.
Later Mr. Wang stressed that promising prospects can be expected in the Central Asian market, and we should be fully aware of the existing advantages and develop Shalkiya project into the first bench-marking project in the Central Asian market.
