The excavation and shaft hoisting volume at Bor project reached 11,025m3 in December 2022, overfulfilling the monthly target, with bolt & mesh installation and shotcreting volume hitting record high.
Ventilation, power supply, water supply, drainage and hoisting systems were renovated and upgraded after focus shifted from vertical to horizontal development. Fully mechanized construction was almost achieved after 17 sets of trackless fleet were mobilized and transported down through the 1000m+ shaft in H2 2022, whilst more drift development ends were available and construction techniques became increasingly mature.
Change-over of the hoisting systems were done respectively at air intake shaft and air return shaft in last May and last August, with a new management team in place. Project management mode was also adjusted, with Project Manager and all management personnel headed to the frontline to timely solve problems and cope with challenges emerging under new circumstances. In addition, great efforts were made to ensure the implementation of project rules & regulations, enhance standardization management and guarantee work safety, which enabled the efficient completion of the monthly target for December 2022.
