Mr. Xinyu Wang Visited Shalkiya Zinc and Tau-Ken Samruk

Mr. Xinyu Wang, President of JCHX Mining, visited Shalkiya project in Kazakhstan from February 13 to February 20, during when a meeting was held with the senior management of Shalkiya Zinc and Tau-Ken Samruk, the Employer of Shalkiya Project.

On February 13, Mr. Wang inspected UG development ends respectively in the decline, belt conveyor incline and -80mL south-north drive, before listening to the project report on construction progress and management. He also discussed with engineers over current key and challenging works such as drainage and ground support to come up with appropriate improvement measures.

A meeting was convened later between Mr. Wang and Orken, GM of Shalkiya Zinc. Orken extended a warm welcome to Mr. Wang for his visit, and heartfelt thanks to JCHX and the project team for their strong support and joint efforts. Then discussions were conducted over project progress, work safety, quality, and construction schedule.

During when Mr. Wang also extended sincere gratitude to the Employer for its trust and support to JCHX during project implementation, indicating that JCHX will continue to improve project management and operation by integrating optimum resources and working closely with the Employer to build Shalkiya Lead & Zinc Mine into a world class project.

On February 15, another meeting was held among Mr. Wang, Mr. Lianjun Fang, GM of CCECC Kazakhstan Branch and Bakyt, CEO of JSC Tau-Ken Samruk, National Mining Company of Kazakhstan.

Mr. Wang expressed his sincere appreciation to Tau-Ken Samruk for its trust before presenting current progress and major construction plan of Shalkiya project. Then he introduced JCHX’s comprehensive strength including strategic planning of global business and professional expertise in UG mining, in particular, he shared valuable insights and successful experiences of JCHX in terms of mine development in countries and regions under the “Belt and Road” Initiative. Bakyt highly praised JCHX for what it has achieved and expressed high expectation that both parties can seize the opportunity presented by the increasingly favorable relationship between China and Kazakhstan to deepen cooperation and achieve win-win development.
