From August 11 to 16, Mr. Wang Qinghai, Chairman of JCHX Mining, went to Vientiane, capital of Laos, to attend the "China-Laos Forum on Sustainable Development and Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources and China Non-Ferrous Metals International Cooperation Alliance Annual Conference, visited a well-known mine in Laos, and inspected JCHX Kaiyuan project.
The forum and conference, under the guidance of China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association and Lao Ministry of Energy and Mines, was jointly held by China Non-ferrous Metals International Cooperation Alliance and Lao National Energy and Mining Institute. The conference aims to build a communication bridge for enterprises in the non-ferrous metals industry, discuss the prospects and opportunities for the development of the industry, and enhance the cooperation between China and Laos in the field of non-ferrous metals. Representatives of the Lao Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Chinese Embassy in Laos and other government departments, as well as domestic universities and enterprises attended the event.
As a special guest and head of the co-organizer of the event, Chairman Wang made a keynote speech entitled "Sharing the Fruits of Mining Development Along the Belt and Road — the Development Practice of a Mining Company" at the meeting, fully demonstrating that JCHX proactively participates in the high-quality construction of “the Belt and Road", involves in international production capacity cooperation, promotes the whole industrial chain development strategy of internationalization and sustainability. JCHX’s successful practice obtained through carrying out multi-form and in-depth cooperation with enterprises in co-construction countries and industries in fields of mine service, resources investment, mine design, etc. and outstanding achievements of having become into a strong participant, promoter and contributor to the sustainable and high standard economic development and the improvement of people's living in the host country of the project were highly recognized by the attendees of the event. During when, Chairman Wang also had thorough exchanges with representatives of industry’s institutions and enterprises in China and Laos, and visited Phapon gold mine in Laos, organized by the organizing committee of the Forum.
After the Forum, Chairman Wang had an in-depth exchange with the management of Laos Phu Bia Mining Company, and visited JCHX Kaiyuan project in Thakhek County, Khammouan Province, Laos, during when an in-depth exchange was held with Mr. Han Huiru, Chairman of Lao Kaiyuan Mining Limited, the projects’ Owner, and Mr. Wang Dequan, GM of Lao Kaiyuan Mining, on the project implementation. Chairman Wang also expressed heartfelt thanks to the Owner for its long-term trust and support to JCHX. The two sides agree that they will further deepen exchanges and cooperation and work together to create a mutually beneficial and win-win future.
