From August 6 to 21, Mr. Huang Haigen, President of JCHX Mining, inspected JCHX Kinsey, Bor and Peki projects in Serbia successively, and put forward requirements on production safety, equipment maintenance, site standardization establishment, management efficiency improvement, and cost control, etc.
At Peki project, Mr. Huang came to the site of the air return shaft and went down to the -800mL of the air intake shaft. He put forward clear and specific work requirements on the grouting of the return air shaft, the change-over of hoisting system for ventilation shaft and the construction of the -800mL drives, stressing that the construction organization must be well coordinated to ensure a safe and controllable construction process, standardized operation and orderly organization.
At Kinsey project, Mr. Huang visited multiple working levels from -80mL to -320mL. While acknowledging the achievements made by the project in the first half of the year, he also made arrangements for further strengthening production safety control, improving equipment management, strengthening integration of Chinese and foreign employees and standardizing construction work on site, requiring focus on team building, staff’s safety training and equipment management.
At Bor project, Mr. Huang checked construction situation of each UG section of the mine and recognized the standardization management work, asking the project to work in the spirit of creating quality brand and high benchmarks and promote production and management work to a new high.
From August 22 to 25, Mr. Huang went to Wassa project for inspection and guidance, and was invited to attend the high-level meeting held by Golden Star (Wassa) Limited, a subsidiary of Chifeng Gold, the Owner. He went deep to the UG site of the project, inspected all the working faces and construction sites at 242 and B-shoot areas, and gained a detailed understanding of site safety production, power consumption management, equipment management, mining preparation and blasting parameters, support acceptance standards, stope connection, vehicle operating environment, geological drilling progress by the Owner, and talked with the jumbo operators working at the decline. During this trip, Mr. Huang was also invited to participate in the high-level meeting held by the Owner, and expressed his sincere thanks to their trust in JCHX. He said that Wassa project is the first mining service project undertaken by JCHX in West Africa, JCHX attaches great importance to it, and will give full play to its rich experience of overseas mine development and construction and international management accumulated in the past 20 years, and cooperate with the Owner’s team sincerely to jointly build Wassa project into a benchmark project in West Africa.
