Minister of International Relations of Botswana Visits JCHX Head Office

On June 17,the Minister of International Relations of Botswana Dr. Phenyo Butale and Ambassador Dr. Batlang C. Serema, Ambassador of Botswana to China paid an official visit to JCHX group where they were warmly welcomed by Xiancheng Wang, the chairman of JCHX group together with Mr. Qinghai Wang, the chairman of JCHX Co. Ltd and Haigen Huang President of JCHX Co. Ltd, accompanied by Mr. Clifford S. Maribe,Deputy Permanent Secretary of Minister of International Relations of Botswana, Mr. Marang Motlaleng, Economic and Commercial Counselor of Embassy of Botswana in China and Mr. Miles Gengxu Nan, Regional Director of National Chamber of Commerce to Asia. Madam Bian Li, the General Manager of Foreign Affairs and Business Management Center of JCHX was also presenting the meeting.

H.E. Minister of International Relations of Botswana and the delegation visited the exhibition hall to have an overall knowledge of JCHX’s development history, strategic plan, oversea business layout. Both sides exchanged views on technology localization, community economic and social development driven by mining development service.

During the following friendly meeting, Mr. Xiancheng Wang extended his warm welcome for the visit by H.E. Minister of International Relations of Botswana and his delegation and presented a detail introduction of JCHX’s business progress in Botswana, emphasized how JCHX would build up a backfill station by adopting its unique and core technology on paste-backfill, which was developed since 2016 with the global leading backfill lab. JCHX would ensure the high quality of the mining project by leveraging such kind of technology and professional empowerment. He also mentioned a training school would be set up in Botswana to provide systematical and mature mining construction and production technologies and, by doing so, a large number of local people could be trained for jobs to promote the local talent cultivation and its economic development as well.

H.E. Minister of International Relations of Botswana highlighted JCHX’s outstanding performance on environment and ESG, and expected JCHX to inject more dynamic for Botswana economic development during its operation in the future. He also mentioned Botswana’s great potential mining market and expected more participation from JCHX to create driving force for the local economy.

“2025 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Botswana and China”, H.E.Minister of International Relations of Botswana said, “over the past half century, both countries were driven by the principle of friendly and equal cooperation to realize the mutual benefit and win-win result. Looking forward, we will continue to join hands to forge ahead new prospects and open a new chapter”.
