JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JCHX" or the "Company") has always placed employee health and safety at the core of its corporate values, strictly fulfilling its primary responsibility for workplace safety and deeply implementing the safety development philosophy of "people-oriented, caring for life, and prioritizing health." With the clear goals of "zero work-related fatalities and zero growth in occupational diseases," the Company centers its efforts on building a occupational health and safety management system, focuses on key aspects of safety risk management, and utilizes the implementation of an all-staff safety production responsibility system as a crucial mechanism to continuously enhance safety assurance capabilities and intrinsic safety levels, striving to establish a long-term safety production mechanism that covers the entire lifecycle and all processes.
To fulfill the above commitments, we will implement the following policies:
1. Strictly adhere to the occupational health and safety regulations and industry management standards applicable in the locations where business operations are conducted, and establish a high-standard occupational health and safety management system.
2. Under the overall leadership of the Board of Directors, the senior management team, headed by the President, is fully responsible for the implementation of health and safety strategies and performance outcomes, promotes the provision of safe working conditions, and actively fosters a positive and healthy safety culture.
3. All employees and partners must assume direct responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others, and are entitled to exercise the right to intervene when identifying potential hazards in the working environment in accordance with the law.
4. Fully utilize systematic tools such as the safety information platform to identify hazards and conduct risk assessments, then develop and implement targeted multi-dimensional control measures—including engineering techniques, safety management, education and training, personal protection, and emergency response—to minimize health and safety risks for employees, partners, and visitors.
5. Set quantifiable health and safety performance targets for senior management and all functional levels, and integrate the achievement of these targets into the compensation evaluation system; conduct regular reviews of the management system's effectiveness and sustainability, ensuring continuous operational improvement through enhanced leadership and resource allocation.
6. Proactively communicate health and safety policies and performance with internal and external stakeholders, voluntarily accept supervision, and disclose relevant information to the public.
Scope of Application
As a public programmatic document, this policy applies to all members (including board members and senior management personnel) of the Company and its subsidiaries (with operational control), and requires relevant suppliers, partners, and their long-term/temporary employees providing services to JCHX to strictly implement it. Additionally, the scope of the policy extends to all operating entities under the Company and its subsidiaries (with operational control), specifically covering mining service project departments/project companies, resource project companies, other business sector’s operating units, etc.
Regarding associated and joint venture enterprises, the Company will actively promote the alignment of their policies and practices with the requirements of these guidelines through the exercise of shareholder/board rights, ensuring that their policy orientation and practical operations comply with the core principles advocated by this policy.
