Jinke Project

Location : Musonoi Copper-Cobalt Mine, northwest of Kolwezi, Lualaba Province, DRC
Project Overview & Significance : Located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Musonoi multi-purpose shaft project is a landmark achievement, marking JCHX’s first shaft mine capital construction project in the DRC.
Engineering Scope : The project has been executed in distinct phases, with expanding scopes of work:
Initial Phase (Shaft Construction): Encompasses shaft sinking and lining (excavation and masonry), alongside the installation of permanent shaft equipment for the multi-purpose shaft.
Expansion Phase (Awarded June 2022): Focused on the installation of the multi-purpose shaft hoisting system and ancillary facilities. Key engineering components include:
Main hoist house and auxiliary hoist house
Headframe and surface ore bin
Belt conveyor drift
Fine ore recovery system
Shaft bottom pump station
Major Achievement: In June 2023, the project team successfully erected an ultra-large headframe standing 69 meters tall and weighing approximately 2,000 tons. This monumental structure is currently recognized as the largest headframe in Africa, showcasing the company’s extraordinary engineering capabilities.
