Strategic Acquisition & Resource Base : Located in Kaiyang County, Guizhou Province, the Liangchahe Phosphate Mine marks a highly strategic addition to JCHX’s resource portfolio. In May 2019, JCHX successfully acquired a 90% equity stake in the mine from Guizhou Kailin Group through public bidding. The project boasts substantial phosphate ore resources of approximately 21.33 million tonnes, featuring a premium average P2O5 grade of 32.65%.
Development Strategy & Production Scale : According to the preliminary design, the mine features an overall production capacity of 800,000 tonnes per annum (800 ktpa) and employs a partitioned underground mining strategy.
Southern Mining Area : Designed capacity of 300,000 tpa, with a 1-year construction period and a 20-year production life.
Northern Mining Area : Designed capacity of 500,000 tpa, with a 3-year construction period and an 18-year production life.
Final Product : The final product of the operations is run-of-mine (ROM) phosphate ore.
